Established in 2013 and set on 4.8 beautiful acres, this 51-unit residential area allows seniors (ages 62 and up) to connect with their surroundings, offering easy access to the comforts of Wilton Center and the serene nature of Merwin Meadows Park. Here, we strive to create a nurturing environment where residents feel at home. Residents can enjoy various amenities that cater to their needs, such as a cozy library for peaceful reading, a spacious recreation room for friendly gatherings, and a beauty shop for self-care moments.
Wilton Commons and Wilton Commons Congregate is a welcoming community designed in partnership with the Town of Wilton. It provides affordable independent living for seniors. Understanding the importance of social connections, the community features caring on-site staff who are always available to assist residents and create a warm atmosphere with daily activities and events.
Wilton Commons Congregate
In 2016, CHP expanded Wilton Commons and Wilton Commons Congregate by adding a new congregate care wing with 23 units offering supportive services: one nutritious meal served daily and housekeeping. This development provides a nurturing environment for seniors earning at or below 60% of the area median income, allowing them to stay in a familiar community.
Residents can enjoy peace of mind with a 24-hour emergency call system and various amenities, including recreation and meditation rooms, weekly activities, a convenience store, a beauty salon/barber shop, and monthly blood pressure screenings with access to a nurses’ station.
